Make Up Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit in Ultra Fair – Review

Hello pretty people!

I have an awesome review for you today. Contouring is totally da shizzle ever since Kim K. faked that sharp jawline. Most of us girls were like “HOW DOES SHE DO THAT? I HAVE TO KNOW!” Hence why Youtube exploded with contouring tutorials which made it look super easy in theory, but really made most of us look like we fell into a jar of brown paint. A more foolproof way of contouring is the use of powder and as I was feeling especially cheeky, I decided to buy this palette in Ultra Fair, because let’s be honest, even in this heatwave, my complexion will not even reach the tanned status.

Fair skinned ladies

contour1The palette includes a bronzer, a highlighter and a blusher. The colours match well together and are not too dark for fair skinned ladies, which is often the case with these kinds of products.

contour3As you can see on the picture, there is a fair bit of fall-out. It does not effect the application of the product on your face (that is still okay), but it is kind of annoying as there will be a mess all over the bathroom if you are as incompetent when it comes to working neatly as I am.

contour4The pigmentation is fine as you can see. The highlighter does have a bit too much glitter for my taste (hey, whoever thought I would ever say that?) but it is not too bad when on your face.

contour5Look at that. The blusher is not very obvious in the picture, but it was incredibly hot so it might have melted off already. My face is without foundation by the way. I only applied bronzer on my cheekbones, which gives a subtle effect. The highlighter is under my eyes and on my nosebridge. Could have done with less shine, but hey, for the price, it is perfect.

You can buy MakeUp Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit over here. A real bargain!
