Wildest Dreams Box: Sunday YA’s Special Edition

I had completely forgotten that I had pre-ordered this special edition of the Wildest Dreams book box. So I was pleasantly surprised when this was handed to me by the postman. The box’ theme: Sunday YA’s Wildest Dreams and it included two books.

Let’s have a look at what is inside.

Wildest Dreams items

I Am Thunder – Kashmiri Chai Green Tea
I Am Thunder inspired tea by Muhammad Khan. It’s green tea blended with Asian delights to give you an uplifting, spiced flavour. Chai tea is one of my favourite blends of tea, so I am sure I will really enjoy drinking this I love that it comes with 10 disposable tea bags so you don’t have to go and find a tea egg.

The Loneliest Girl Bracelet
A space bracelet, consisting of the moon and stars, inspired by The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James. Now I have to admit, I haven’t read this book, but I am really loving the bracelet. It’s simple, but very cute.

Exclusive Sunday YA pin
A hard enamel pin, made exclusively for the Wildest Dreams box. It makes a nice change to find an enamel pin in a book box instead of all the button/badge type of pins.

What’s another book box without a candle. I’m not going to complain because I love scented candles. After the Fire inspired candle – ‘Never Talk to Outsiders’ tin candle from the book by Will Hill. This candle is scented with cinnamon and sandalwood. It smells lovely! It reminds me of my incense sticks I used to buy back in Holland. I think that might be the influence of the sandalwood.

The Books

We didn’t get one, but two books this time around. Both have lovely covers and are paperbacks. I don’t mind that this box does paperbacks instead of hardbacks. It all just means that the price can stay lower than many other book boxes out there.

The first book is Clean by Juno Dawson

Goodreads describes it as follow:

I can feel it swimming through my veins like glitter … it’s liquid gold.

When socialite Lexi Volkov almost overdoses, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom.

She’s wrong. Rock bottom is when she’s forced into an exclusive rehab facility.

From there, the only way is up for Lexi and her fellow inmates, including the mysterious Brady.

As she faces her demons, Lexi realises love is the most powerful drug of all …

It’s a dirty business getting clean …

It’s getting high reviews on Goodreads, hopefully I will be able to get into it easily.

The second book is Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart, who also wrote We Were Liars.
Again I went to Goodreads for a bit of an intro:

From the author of the unforgettable New York Times bestseller We Were Liars comes a masterful new psychological suspense novel–the story of a young woman whose diabolical smarts are her ticket into a charmed life. But how many times can someone reinvent themselves? You be the judge.

Imogen is a runaway heiress, an orphan, a cook, and a cheat.
Jule is a fighter, a social chameleon, and an athlete.
An intense friendship. A disappearance. A murder, or maybe two.
A bad romance, or maybe three.
Blunt objects, disguises, blood, and chocolate. The American dream, superheroes, spies, and villains.
A girl who refuses to give people what they want from her.
A girl who refuses to be the person she once was.

Sounds interesting and both books aren’t super big, so I can imagine I can read both in an all reading weekend.

Wildest Dreams Box: Sunday YA's Special Edition

For a special edition box, I think this is a pretty decent book box. So, the items are off a good enough quality and we actually got a bit more than normal. and The best item for me has to be the bracelet. I went to the Etsy shop to browse a few more items and I have bought 3 more bracelets, because they are super cute and I’m quite a fan of the simple style. If you want to browse yourself have a look here.
