Huge 2019 Films like Glass, Wonder Woman 1984, It Chapter 2 and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

A first look at some huge 2019 films

I know, I know. We are only just halfway through 2018. The year that will still bring us a lot of fantastic films. But Hollywood never rests. Those 2018 are filmed and (mostly) edited. Hollywood is busy making plans for 2019. And the future looks good. Now, obviously, there aren’t any teasers or trailers available yet for these flicks. But we’ll always have the photo’s. So here’s a first look at some of the big 2019 films coming your way… not very soon.

Glass is the sequel to both Unbreakable and Split. Split is the film that finally brought back M. Night Shyamalan. With a big thanks to James McAvoy, Split was a success. And now, in 2019, Glass will hit theaters. It stars McAvoy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, who all reprise their roles. There’s one picture online at the moment: the (first) film poster. Here it is, in all its splendor:

It: Chapter Two

OK, so this isn’t an actual set picture yet, or some officially released marketing material. The below picture only gives us the adult cast at a table read. But it’s the first time these seven of the Losers Club are seen together. And since we are all very excited for Chapter Two to hit theaters, this is kinda a big deal. Though Bill Skarsgard is still sadly missing from this picture. Also, there he is again, second from the left: James McAvoy. 2019 smiles upon him.

From left to right: Jessica Chastain (Beverly), James McAvoy (Bill), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike), Jay Ryan (Ben), James Ransone (Eddie), Bill Hader (Richie), and Andy Bean (Stanley).

Wonder Woman 1984

As the only person in the world who didn’t enjoy Wonder Woman as much as the entire planet, these new stills don’t do a lot for me. To quickly elaborate: I did like it, I just thought it was more of the same and oh my Gods it was so incredibly predictable. But still, as said, the rest of the planet did love this so especially for all of you, here are some stills for Wonder Woman 1984, courtesy of director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot. And damnit, Steve Trevor is back.

Captain Marvel & Avengers 4

Since there are only (leaked) set pictures available for these two epic Marvel films, we won’t share these here. But since these two films promise to be Epic and Yet More Epic, I just had to include them in this list. Of course, Infinity War kinda set up the entrance of Captain Marvel into the MCU. But that film is set way before the Avengers, so everybody is wondering how she will fit into Avengers 4. And speaking of that one, everything could happen. Are they still dead? Who will come back? Who will die (again)? So many questions, and such a long wait! Be sure to stick around here as we will bring you up to speed as soon as we know more about Captain Marvel or Avengers 4. Like the title for that one…

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

There are a lot of films about serial killers coming our way, and one of those is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. This is the latest Quentin Tarantino, so yeah, that’s a pretty big deal. Plot-wise, there’s not a lot known yet, save for the fact that it’s set during the Charles Manson/Manson Family murders. Oh, and that it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. The former teased us with a little update on his Instagram, with both leads in costume.

How To Train Your Dragon 3

OK, I was lying in the intro. But I wanted this to be a nice little surprise. To end the 2019 films preview, here’s the spectacular teaser for How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. All the love for Toothless <3
