If you’ve read my previous blog posts, you might have read about the times when I suffered from anxiety attacks. While my anxiety still bothers me occasionally, I have chosen not to let those moments define me anymore. I do not want people’s pity. I want to show them that I am doing well. Because I am. I can say that at this moment, I am very happy, which is something we all aim for.
That does not mean everybody does feel the same way. Not everybody feels happy. Not everybody feels loved. Sometimes people go through hard times and need somebody to pick them up when they are feeling down.
Need a pick-me-up?
In the coming few weeks, I want to start the Happiness Project. It will consist of a variety of things, which I will not reveal yet. I will reveal my first step. To those who need a pick-me-up, to those who need to feel loved, and to those who are feeling ok but just need a reason to smile; if you send me an email, I might pick you to send you something nice. A card, a small gift or a nice letter. Just something that will make you smile. We all like to receive mail, especially now in the times of email. I will try to pick at least five people.
This is the first step. My first step in making the world a little bit brighter. I think that if we are all a little nicer to each other, we can achieve great things.
E-mail me your name, address and a message as to why you are the one who should get mail by clicking here and keep an eye on your mailman ;).
