It’s July. Which means it’s high summer, temperatures are up, most people (not me though, sob…) have a holiday to plan and everybody’s spirits are up. It also means my birthday is coming up! July 29th is my big day! Each year, I always ask for books or films and this year is no exception. Those are the things I love to get as presents. But hey, let’s take a look at all the things (popculture related, since I also want lots and lots of flowery plants) I could also have asked for.
James Buchanan Barnes is my favorite character from the MCU. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War are my two favorite Marvel films. So if you get me Bucky wrapped up with a bow on it, I’m a happy camper. Ofcourse, since Sebastian Stan won’t make it to my party, these items are a good second best:
From left to right: a Bucky figurine from Civil War; The Winter Soldier tsum tsum; Winter Soldier long sleeve
I’m sorted into Ravenclaw and all I own so far is a Ravenclaw t-shirt. That’s… not quite enough now, is it? So I need more Ravenclaw inspired items. I am tempted to also include the Ravenclaw special editions of Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets, but I’ll try not to include any books on this list since that was kinda the point of this. While browsing the internet for Ravenclaw related gifts, I found them quite lacking… But I would be very happy with these:

I’m not a super collector of Funko Pops, but I do love them. I only own a couple, but those that I have are hand picked and loved. My favorite is my Bucky Dorbz. I also own a Spike from Buffy, Tyrion from Game of Thrones (which granted, is technically my husbands), Robin Hood from the Disney animation and Robin from the 60’s Batman series. So I could add A LOT to my collection still. That’s why I picked nine instead of three Funko’s.

Other cool birthday gifts
Some things don’t fall into one category. And while I could make Marvel, Star Wars and Harry Potter into separate categories, this list is just for fun and shouldn’t contain 10.000+ gift ideas for my birthday. So to wrap things up, here are three final presents for the 29th. See you next year!
