Time for change at The Sassologist

I started the Sassologist in May 2015 because I wanted to have a place on the internet where I could share my thoughts. Which is exactly what it has become. One of my posts went viral without me expecting it, but apart from that, it has just been my little place on the internet. Until now.

So, I have big plans for this site because I feel like it can be more than just my thing. I want to create a place for people who share the same interests as I do and give them the opportunity to post articles too. I love pop culture, I love music, I love beauty and video games but I have yet to find a website who combines all of these things in one site. Which is annoying because I know I am not the only one who has all these interests. Sometimes it feels like if you love geeky stuff, you can’t like beauty. And there are more examples like that.

Changes are coming

So starting next week, the site will slowly change. It won’t be about me any more. Perhaps I will change my old site ingridchant.com into my personal blog but from next week on, you will find articles not just written by me, but also by other people who want to share their thoughts and stories and opinions on pop culture, music etc. Later this month, I hope to change the layout of the site so it will look like a proper magazine kind of site where you can easily navigate through the different categories.

That’s what’s coming up for this site. I hope it will be a place where all of us who love too many things find refuge and that you will enjoy the articles coming. I’m excited for this new change and I hope you will grow with me and keep reading!

You can like us on Facebook if you want to keep yourself updated about the changes.

Ingrid is the twenty-something owner of The Sassologist, who loves everything that has to do with pop culture. While she is one of many who is in the process of writing a novel, she is also currently in denial over not being a witch. Her Hogwarts letter has yet to arrive. In the meantime she writes about pop culture and dreams about unicorns.
